Open Studio는 호랑가시나무창작소의 입주작가들이 창작의 현재를 직접 소개하고, 지역사회와의 예술적 교류를 활발히 이어가는 열린 프로그램입니다. 레지던시 공간을 대중에게 개방하여 작가들의 작업 과정을 소개하고, 작품이 만들어지는 현장을 직접 경험할 수 있는 기회를 제공합니다. 이 시간을 통해 방문객들은 예술가의 생각과 창작의 맥락을 이해하고, 자유로운 대화를 통해 예술적 담론을 나눌 수 있습니다. ‘Open Studio’는 단순한 전시를 넘어, 지역과 예술가, 관람객 간의 관계를 새롭게 엮는 소통의 장이자, 창작소의 지향점을 공유하는 중요한 플랫폼입니다.

Open Studio is a signature program of Horanggasy Creative Studio that invites the public into the creative spaces of our resident artists, fostering dialogue and connection between artists and the local community. By opening up the residency studios, visitors are offered a rare glimpse into the artists’ working processes and ongoing projects. It’s an opportunity to engage with the ideas behind the artworks, experience the creative atmosphere firsthand, and share thoughts in open conversation. Rather than functioning as a conventional exhibition, Open Studio serves as a dynamic platform for artistic exchange—strengthening networks, encouraging meaningful interaction, and bridging the gap between art and everyday life.
